The voting involving 476 experts and also 652 drinking establishments in the world put The Dead Rabbit in New York City as the best bar in the world overtaking The Artesian in London which sat in first place for four years in a row.

The Dead Rabbit, which is located in the Financial District, Manhattan, was initiated in 2013 by two people from Belfast, Ireland: Sean Muldoon and Jack McGarry. Even though it has only been in operation for less than five years, the achievements of this bar should not be underestimated. This typical Irish bar has won many awards, including the prestigious International Bartender of the Year award for Jack. The Dead Rabbit tempts guests along with an enticing drink menu, including a selection of 72 cocktails, craft beers and whiskeys.
