The Most Anticipated Horror Movies of 2023

The year 2023 is the most anticipated moment for horror film lovers. Several sequels to horror films have been released soon, as well as the latest horror films made by well-known horror directors. The following is a horror film guide from us:

1. Infinity Pool

David Cronenberg might be the master of body horror. But his son, Brandon Cronenberg, also has the same talent. Brandon has presented a number of captivating films in the last decade. He could soon be bringing another chilling story to the Infinity Pool.

Scheduled to release on January 27, 2023, the film’s first trailer shows writer James Foster (Alexander Skarsgard) accidentally killing someone while on vacation with his wife, Em (Cleopatra Coleman) and being sentenced to death for the crime. Other guests at the resort have a seemingly different approach to life and death. James paid a fortune for his executable replacement clone. Since this is a Cronenberg film, it is not for the faint of heart.

2. Knock at the Cabin

Some time ago, M Night Shyamalan’s film, originally titled Old, had just been released in theaters, but he has returned with other intense horror films with a simple premise in the film, which will be released on February 3, 2023.

Knock at the Cabin follows Andrew (Jonathan Groff) and Eric (Ben Aldridge) living in a remote cabin with their daughter Wen (Kristen Cui), when four strangers break in and take them hostage. They demand that this family must invoke a terrible fate to prevent the apocalypse. The first trailer shows Dave Bautista leading the group, though unaware of why or how, they become aware of the impending doomsday.

3. Winnie the Pooh: Blood plus Honey

Many are curious about the film Winnie the Pooh: Blood plus Honey, which is scheduled to be released on February 15, 2023. This cinema tells the story of Winnie and Piglet who committed a massive murder when Christopher Robin went to college.

They were angry because they thought Robin was letting them starve. It’s worth pointing out that both of the main characters in the film are basically just actors wearing masks, not the real giant yellow bear and his good friend pig. Although it looks strange, but that’s what the director Rhys Waterfield crave. He deliberately craved to be in the strange and silliness in this film.

4.Scream 6

Paramount is trying to get back together with Ghostface, Scream 6, is on its way. This time the story takes its origins in the troubled City of Woodsboro, as the survivors of the 2022 Scream move to New York for a fresh start.

Unsurprisingly, their peace is disrupted by the presence of a new Ghostface that starts another terror. Sam (Melissa Barrera) and Tara Carpenter (Jenna Ortega) are back together with twins Mindy (Jasmin Savoy Brown) and Chad Meeks-Martin (Mason Gooding). Scream 4 star Hayden Panettiere will reprise her role as Kirby Reed, to ensure that she survives the sequel phase in 2011. Scream 6 will premiere on March 10, 2023.

5. Renfield

Actor Nicolas Cage has experienced a renaissance in recent years following Mandy, Pig, and The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent. Furthermore, he can be seen as Dracula in Chris McKay’s Renfield which will premiere April 14, 2023.

The film tells the story of one calculating henchman, Renfield (Nicolas Hoult), who takes over the terms of quitting work for a vampire when he falls in love with traffic cop Rebecca Quincy (Awkwafina) in New Orleans. It’s more of a horror comedy, but it’s hard to deny that it has a great premise.
